Announcement: BASIC DRUMS WORKSHOP

We are running a series of basic drums workshop in 2007. They will be run in short courses over 4-6 weeks over the year. Each course can only take 4 trainees due to the limited number of drum-sets we have. Derek will be training and some other members of the worshipteam will be supporting as well.

The first course will be conducted in Jan-Feb 07. There are already some team-members identified for the first course in Jan-Feb. However, you can let me know if you are interested to learn and we will schedule you for the following courses.

Some requirements:
1. You are expected to play drums at least once a month. You may be rostered to play at either level 3 (9.30am & 10.15am sessions) or level 4 (9.30am & 11.30am) worship sessions.
2. You are required to purchase your own drum-sticks and bring your own drum-sticks for practice and worship sessions when you are rostered.
3. Priority will be given to those who will be playing drums as their first instrument.

You can disseminate this info to other teachers or non-worshipteam members in your department. Children who are interested in serving and can be committed to serve are also welcome to learn. However, they will be interviewed.
